Job Description:

As a Kubernetes Operator with Golang expertise, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom resources in Kubernetes using the Golang programming language. You will work closely with development and operations teams to understand application requirements and provide Kubernetes solutions using Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes operators using Golang
  • Develop custom resources in Kubernetes using Golang to support application deployment and management
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Kubernetes operators and custom resources developed in Golang
  • Ensure that Kubernetes clusters are scalable, reliable and secure
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to understand application requirements and provide Kubernetes solutions using Golang
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Kubernetes operators and custom resources developed in Golang
  • Stay up to date with Kubernetes trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
  • Experience developing and maintaining Kubernetes operators using Golang
  • Proficient in Golang programming language
  • Knowledge of networking and storage concepts in a Kubernetes environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or Kubernetes Certified Developer (CKAD) certification
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Istio, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Experience with Kubernetes add-ons such as Helm and kustomize
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
  • Experience with Kubernetes deployment tools such as kubectl and kops

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
